Hello, I’m Valerie Stanfill. I live in Runnells, IA with my wonderful husband and 4 children.
My journey to become a Clinical Herbalist started as a desire to improve the health and well being of my family. I’ve spent 5 years studying herbs and 2 years studying under Trilby Sedlicek, the only Iowa AHG Certified Herbalist and owner of Green Angel Herbs in Cedar Rapids, IA.
As I learned more about our current food supply, environmental chemicals, pharmaceuticals and disease and the lost art of Natural Healthcare and Living, I felt that I needed to share what I had learned with others.
I meet people every day that want to be healthy and have more energy. They don’t want to be on multiple medications or feel sick and tired all the time. The knowledge of food as medicine, especially preventive medicine has decreased so much over the last 3 generations that most people don’t even think about improving their health with food and herbs.
If you have a specific health concern, you want to eat healthy, lose weight, have more energy, or prevent future disease for you and your family. Hopefully on this site you will find information that is helpful or maybe a class that you would like to participate in.
If you have specific health needs or concerns I am available for individual consultations. Consultations are done on a donation basis, no one will be turned away because of money.
