Harvesting and Preserving Your Crop

We will start outside exploring the plants and harvesting all
of the wonderful fall vegetables and herbs. From there we
will enter the kitchen and learn about how to preserve them.
Basic techniques taught will be making vinegars, water bath
canning, drying in a dehydrator or the oven, freezing, and
fermenting for winter use!
Bring a small dish to share for lunch.
